How to score entries

If you have participated in a VF round, you will receive via email a scoring sheet shortly after the entry closing date.

The scoring sheet contains a table with all participants' names and boxes for technical and artistic scores. The technical component represents what was flown in a video, whilst the artistic component represents how those thing were flown. Scores should be awarded in the range 0 to 10, with 0 being the poorest end of the scale, and 10 indicating excellence.

In practice, technical/artistic score of 0/0 should be almost impossible to receive, and similarly, a score of 10/10 should be quite rare too. However, an entrant's scores are theirs alone and the contents of individual scoring sheets is always kept private.

At their discretion, scorers may penalise the scores of an entry for minor non-compliance of the competition rules.
